Samantha Renke

Samantha Renke is a broadcaster, speaker, actor, writer and highly acclaimed disability advocate. Samantha’s TV credits include Sunday Morning Live (BBC One), Lorraine (ITV), This Morning (ITV), Loose Women (ITV) and Jeremy Vine on 5 (Channel 5).

Samantha’s book, You Are The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread, was published by Penguin Books. She is also a columnist for Enable magazine, and has written for the Metro, The Huffington Post and Glamour magazine.

Samantha played the lead role in the award-winning feature film, Little Devil. She also featured in Channel 4’s successful series of Disabled-led adverts for Maltesers. In addition, Samantha has worked with brands such as Amazon Prime Video and SHARK.

As an experienced speaker, Samantha has spoken at events for the likes of JC Decaux, Clifford Chance, the British Retail Consortium, and Pinterest.

 
Samantha is a trustee of The Brittle Bone Society, an ambassador for Scope, Sense, Veganuary and The Eve Appeal, and a patron of the National Diversity Awards. Samantha was nominated as Campaigner of the Year at the 2019 European Diversity Awards and Celebrity of the Year at the 2020 National Diversity Awards. She was also awarded the Outstanding Alumni from the University of Lancaster.
