N Leigh Hunt is a South African born author, crime historian and broadcaster. He is a member of the American Society of Criminology and considered an expert on school shooters.


His book, ‘I Don’t Like Monday’s - The True Story Behind America's First Modern School Shooting’ received the Honourable Mention at the True Crime Awards in 2023. Hunt’s podcast, ‘IN ESTO: What really happened to Adrianna Hutto’ received two honourable mentions at the 2025 True Crime Awards as well as nomination for the Clue Awards in the USA. His ‘NOLA 93: The Journal and the Murder’ podcast won the Podcast Rising Star Award at the True Crime Awards 2026.


His book ‘The Boy Next Door – The Shocking True Story Behind the Youngest Ever Serial Killer’ tells the harrowing story of the youngest serial killer in American history. Local police were baffled by multiple murders until an officer noticed a bandaged hand on 15-year-old, Craig C Price. He would not only confess to the slaying but spend only 5 years in prison for the crimes.


Hunt’s career started at an alternative rock station California. He later produced talk shows and presented on several stations in the states before moving back to England. He is currently a Director of Horizon Radio and a Visiting Professor to Universities in the Midlands.


He lives with his wife in Olney, Buckinghamshire but thinks of San Diego, CA as his hometown.
