Lisa Squire

Lisa Squire is a national campaigner, police trainer and advocate for ending violence against women and girls. Following the murder of her daughter, Libby Squire, in 2019, Lisa has dedicated her life to driving systemic change through education, prevention and professional training.

Working alongside police forces, criminal justice partners and organisations across the UK, Lisa delivers training focused on improving the recognition of violence against women and girls, including stalking and non-contact sexual offences, helping professionals identify opportunities for earlier intervention and better protect those at risk.

Lisa is a Trustee of the It Does Matter charity and the creator of Libby’s Lesson, an innovative PSHE programme empowering young people to recognise harmful behaviours, understand healthy relationships, consent, stalking and non-contact sexual offences, and know how to seek help safely.

Through her tireless campaigning and collaboration with professionals, policymakers and communities, Lisa is committed to ensuring that Libby’s legacy creates lasting change, preventing future harm and giving others the knowledge to recognise warning signs before it is too late.
