Kaelin Fletcher-Taylor

Kaelin is one of the Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVAs) at We Are Survivors, a voluntary sector organization providing therapeutic and advocacy support to male, trans, and non-binary victims / survivors of sexual harms.

Kaelin graduated from The University of Manchester in 2023 with an LLB in Law. His legal education, alongside practical experience at top criminal chambers, meant he joined We Are Survivors later that year with a deep passion for ensuring access to justice and an understanding of advocacy and legal ethics in achieving fair outcomes.

Initially starting within the operations team, Kaelin gained a great overview of the work done by the organisation before moving to his current role. Now, Kaelin provides specialist tailored support to the clients we work with. This is centered around supporting people throughout the criminal justice process by providing tailored and independent support to clients as well as acting as a point of contact between clients and the various parties in the system.

Since joining We Are Survivors, Kaelin has written articles on where law and policy is failing male survivors and is also the thematic lead for homelessness and helps to ensure that homeless clients receive an equitable service and get any extra support they may need.
