I am here to share my Mum's story and promote the podcast “DIG UP YOUR MAM, written and narrated by Julie Bindel and produced by Samantha Smith. My mum, Anne Law was reported missing on March 24th 1973. She is the longest recorded missing from home reported within Northumbria police .

This podcast series is a 52 year long true crime mystery. My mum, an identical twin married my dad, Gilbert, who was a violent, paranoid schizophrenic who subjected her to years of horrific violence.

Her identical twin sister Margaret was married to my dad's first love, Eric. Me and my brother Trevor, were placed in care with child abusers. Nine years later in 1982, Dad tried to dig my mum's body up taking my brother Trevor and my cousin with him.  A massive and incompetent police investigation commenced. Her body has never been found.

I became a Detective Sgt within Northumbria police in the hope of uncovering the truth.
