Alison Madgin and Carly Barrett

Alison Madgin and her daughter Carly Barrett are the driving force behind ‘Samantha’s Legacy’ which is a charity created due to a horrific tragedy.

In 2007, Alison’s daughter and Carly’s sister, Samantha, was stabbed to death at just 18-years-old. Only 68 days after becoming a mother. Alison and Carly launched ‘Samantha’s Legacy’ to raise awareness and prevention of knife crime and support to bereaved families.

Alison and Carly are honouring Samantha by making real change in communities across the North East and beyond.
