Kidnap for ransom negotiator turned writer

Scott Walker is one of the world's most experienced kidnap for ransom negotiators, having helped resolve more than 300 cases and other similar perils such as piracy and cyber extortion attacks.

Scott spent sixteen years as a Scotland Yard detective engaged in all types of criminal investigations ranging from counter-terrorism and organised crime, to homicide and kidnapping.



He left the police in 2015 to support organisations, government departments and private individuals negotiate the release of hostages and resolve crises all over the world.

He has written about the lessons learnt from these experiences in his new book ORDER OUT OF CHAOS.

Scott is also a script writer for true crime podcasts.
