N Leigh Hunt is a South African born author, crime historian and broadcaster. He is a member of the American Society of Criminology and considered an expert on California school shootings. Currently researching the Cokeville school crisis, Leah Croucher murder case and the crimes of Craig “Chubby” Price. 


‘I Don’t Like Monday’s - The True Story Behind America's First Modern School Shooting’ is his first book, which took years of interviews and research to accurately record the horrifying event. The behaviour of the shooter’s father initially caught his attention and he later discovered many other extraordinary developments surrounding the case. The information collected in this book had never been published before. 


His formative years were spent in sunny California after moving from the UK. His career started as an intern at an alternative rock station in San Jose after attending university in San Diego and the Academy of Radio & Television Broadcasting. Later producing talk shows, as well as presenting on several stations in Northern California. 


Hunt moved back to England in 1999 and contributes to the BBC and many other large broadcasting corporations. He is currently a director of a radio station and produces shows and podcasts in the Midlands, UK. He lives with his wife in Olney, Bucks but still thinks of San Diego as his hometown.
