Nancy has over 25 years’ experience in organising live events and is an expert in creating experiences and memories for targeted audiences. 

As Event Director CrimeCon UK she works hard to curate a wide-ranging program that has something for everyone and that combines hands-on learning with plenty of chances to have fun meeting speakers, podcasters, and other fans. Despite that, hardly a day goes by that she doesn’t think about the fact that the topics CrimeCon covers often involve the worst day of someone’s life. Respect for victims, families, and law enforcement is always at the forefront of everything she and the wider CrimeCon team do.

On the second Tuesday of every month, Nancy hosts CrimeCon UK book club on Instagram Live with Crime Monthly Magazine’s Lisa Howells and the months Guest Author.

Nancy is an advocate for victims. She has been appointed as a Community Influence Member at Metropolitan Police. This role involves Nancy presenting community knowledge and information to new police recruits, facilitating open and frank discussions with police to understand the impact that their practice has on victims and their families, both positively and negatively to help create a positive learning environment and resource to enable authentic and ethical policing.
