Jon Atack

Jon Atack is known for his investigation of Scientology, and his writings on coercive psychology and authoritarian behaviour. He has published over 500 articles and worked on over 200 media pieces internationally. 

At 19, he joined Scientology. He was never a live-in member, but completed most of Scientology’s 'Bridge'. He left in 1983 after 11 cult officials received prison terms. 

Jon’s history of Scientology Let's Sell These People a Piece of Blue Sky, was an Amazon.com bestseller. He was harassed for years by Scientologists, being sued and subjected to smear campaigns.  

He has been consulted for over 150 court cases and by government organizations around the world.
