DNA Doe Project

The DNA Doe Project was founded in 2017 as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation with a simple humanitarian mission: to identify John and Jane Does using genetic genealogy. To date, our 60+ volunteers from the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom have solved over 75 cases, providing long-awaited answers to grieving families. The cold cases our team solved date from as far back as 1852 to as recent as 2020, and we continue to expand and scale our operations to restore the true names of John and Jane Does around the world.
