Christina Michaels
Producer
Christina Michaels is an award-winning Producer for ITN, working predominantly for 5 News, but also on collaborations for Channel 5 with ITN Productions. Most recently, she worked on Dan Walker’s series ‘Vanished: The Hunt for Britain’s Missing People’, which followed on from the exclusive interview with Nicola Bulley’s partner Paul Ansell.
Aside from her work on ‘Vanished’, Christina has worked on investigations for 5 News covering issues such as perpetrators of domestic abuse, coercive control, and the taboo subject of child to parent abuse, which resulted in her winning News Producer of the Year at the Society of Editors 2022.
Prior to entering the world of work, Christina graduated with a Bachelor in Journalism from The University of Winchester, throughout her degree she specialised in crime and court reporting and dedicated her final year to ‘The Innocence Project’.
