Brian Hook was a detective for 30 years in the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) at New Scotland Yard before embarking on my current academic adventure. He served on the Anti-Terrorist Branch, Racial & Violent Crime Directorate, Central Area Major Investigation Team, and the Specialist Crime Directorate Homicide Command where he was involved in the investigation and assessment, management and forensic examination of numerous high profile crime scenes and incidents, surveillance, and covert forensics throughout the UK and overseas.
